How Do I Get Started?

Getting started is easy.  Just contact Keith Goodell at 1-860-657-1093 or info@ibisadvisors.com

The process works as follows:

    • Complete and return the Employee Data Sheet using one of the following methods:

    • IBIS globalCAN provides Gold and Silver "CAN" benefits packages for each country where there are local nationals.  This includes the local (admitted) carrier that will be used for each line of employee benefits, and the accounting firm that will provide the payroll services.  Please note, IBIS globalCAN requires our selected payroll provider to be used in each country.  Benefits cannot be placed through IBIS globalCAN when using another payroll provider or accounting firm not associated with IBIS globalCAN.

    • A benefit package for each country normally includes Life, Disability and Medical/Health.  In most countries, IBIS globalCAN also provides retirement plans as an option.

    • IBIS globalCAN reviews the implementation process on a per country basis and informs the customer about the requirements.  For example, in many countries, five employees or more are required to place a group insurance contract.  IBIS globalCAN can often place groups smaller than five in a country, but it may be on an individual insurance basis and may require medical underwriting, including the completion of a medical questionnaire.

    • The customer agrees to implement IBIS globalCAN for local national needs in selected countries by signing a two year agreement.

    • IBIS globalCAN assigns the customer a dedicated Account Manager in the U.S.

    • An IBIS globalCAN Account Manager makes sure local insurance lines go into effect and proper eligibility is established.

    • An IBIS globalCAN local country payroll provider pays local national employees and facilitates payment for the insurance coverage's that are in place.
* Note, countries that have under five employees may take longer due to medical questionnaires and individual insurance underwriting protocols.
